ah baba this town
i’ve been round
i’ve seen ups
i’ve seen downs
i’ve seen smiles
i’ve seen frowns
i’ve seen many men wearing kings crowns
as we dey street, baba some dey estate
some dey big office, we dey watch gate
some dey chop food, we dey wash plates
but without you, baba, it’s a lost case
as you don show father, make i prostrate
you don bless this your boy with enough grace
you dey control things *******
now, you got this son seeking out the first place
baba dey my front cause i know say i go reach
trouble dey everywhere like lebanese
as i climb up higher, more enemies
but like kennis in 1999, you get remedy

mo gbadun o to se laiye mi
o dun mo mi, o yo mi
temi yo mi yea
mo gbadun o to se laiye mi o
temi ye mi o
oritse mi yea
baba mi loke
baba mo dupe o
baba mo s’ope o
baba gba ope o
baba mi loke o
baba mo dupe o…olomi ye

i no fit kneel down for any mankind
one good man to save us we can’t find
we get patience for goodluck to make sense
but still our parents dey struggle to pay rent
baba dey my back, make i no fear
you show me road, make we show there
because you made me, because you saved me
e be like hd, your blessing is so clear
ah and no be wetin i deserve
i be in deep end cause my grace is reserved

the lord will protect your coming and your going both now and forever

  • Nice job with the lyrics, Bukie.
    Some corrections:
one good man to save us we can’t find (not one good man to see first we can’t find)
because you made me, because you saved me (not because you made, because you save me)
*i be in deep end cause my grace is reserved should be abi e dey bench cause my grace is reserved (I'm not too sure about this one; couldn't hear clearly)
